Welcome to the Taking Care Website. Taking Care is the name of the child protection policy of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland. Our Office is based within the Board of Social Witness and is based on the 1st floor of the Assembly Buildings, Belfast.
Our aim is to create and promote a safe environment for children, young people and leaders. We deal with all child protection concerns and issues within the Presbyterian Church. We believe that next to proclaiming God’s Word and the love of Christ, nothing could be more important than keeping our children and young people safe.
If you would like to speak to someone about a child protection concern in relation to the Presbyterian Church then please speak to the Designated Person for Taking Care in your congregation, or contact the Taking Care Office.
