Taking Care Prayer
Loving Heavenly Father, we come to you in prayer
To give thanks that you have called us to work
with children and young people and
For church buildings and facilities to work in.
We acknowledge that you have generously blessed us
with gifts to use in our work,
That we have been entrusted
with their safe keeping
Equip us with the skills we need
To be prepared and organised,
To be understanding and compassionate,
To be fair and consistent,
To treat everyone as individuals – unique and precious in your sight,
To never take risks or cut corners.
We thank you for the Taking Care Programme and pray that you will bless its use in every congregation and organisation.

Lindsay Conway, Director of Social Service; Rev Bobby Liddle, Convener of the Board; the Board staff team; Heads of Units; staff and volunteers as they declare and demonstrate God's love in practical projects.
Our residents, clients, and all our users that they may find the true Spirit of Christ in the work that we do.
Recognizing the needs of congregations highlighted in the congregational survey and for guidance in assisting and encouraging local social witness projects.
God's wisdom and direction as the Board reviews its Committee structure and relates to other Boards and Agencies as the Church clarifies its mission and priorities.
