Monthly Prayer

January 2009

Pray for the older people in our residential homes as they face the winter period which can sometimes be a lonely time for them.

Pray for Denise and the care staff at Aaron House as they prepare for the transition from Currie Community to the Presbyterian Church.

Pray for staff and volunteers at Friendship House as they continue to develop the work in the community through the After Schools Programme, Parents and Toddlers group and work with the Men from the hostel.

Pray for those who are feeling depressed during the month of January due to financial or personal circumstances; may they find hope through the Christian witness of our work.

Pray for staff in both the Board of Social Witness and the Taking Care Offices as they undergo staff changes this month.
